Question

Which bus terminal to take bus from Xining to Qillian Shan. What is the main town to stop. Is it possible by bus to Zhangye or Jiayuquan from Qillian Shan. What is the interval of departure. If Qillian Shan to Jiayuquan by taxi or private car what would be the fare like one way.Would be appreciate for your helpful informations.

I assume you are planning a trip to these places. The recommended route is Xining-Qilian-Zhangye-Jiayuguan. You can take a long-distance bus to Qilian County from Xining Long-Distance Bus Station. The bus departs at 8:15, 9:15, 10:15, 11:15, 12:30, and 14:20 and the price is around CNY 40. Upon arrival, you can charter a minibus taking you to the major spots around the county, including the Qilian Mountain Prairie. Then, you can take a coach at Qilian Coach Station to Zhangye, which would take CNY 45 or so. The operation time is 8:40, 14:30, and 16:00. There are many ways to get to Jiayuguan from Zhangye. You are recommended to take a high speed train at Zhangye West Railway Station to Jiayuguan.
