About:How to Apply for a China Visa

Misdemeanor expungement(USA)

Hello I want to apply for a work visa in China for teaching English, but I have a misdemeanor theft in the u.s. The record was expunged. Will this affect me when I apply? Do I have to say yes when asked on the application if I have a criminal record?

Stephanie, it won’t affect your application. From where I stand, you’d better tell them honestly when they ask about it.
