About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Do I need to register even I just hold a tourist visa?

I read this article - China: Foreign Nationals Must Register with Local Police within 24 Hours on a website.
This is quite alarming. I will be travelling to the PRC on a Tourist L type and will hopefully get to travel around for 2 months. Upon arrival, am I required to register my temporary residence with the public security bureau (PSB) even as a Tourist?
I'll be travelling solo and independently. And will be staying with an AirBnb host in her apartment in XuJiaHui.

If the Bnb has no computer for registration of visitors, you Need to go to local police station. If you are checking in, you need to make sure A copy of your entry stamp is taken and send to police station.
