Asking for visa on arrival to hainan

If I plan to visit Hainan! Can I do the VOA or I need to apply Chinese entry permit in the embassy? I am holding Cambodia passport.

Chantrea, it is possible for you to get it there. But if time is enough, you’d better apply for one in advance of your journey.

How many days of VOA they approved for my nationality? Is it possible to visit mainland also by holding this VOA?

I cannot you for sure how many days you could get. But if you can get a 30-day VOA, you can visit mainland PRC with it.

Thanks for your help Blake. Anyway are you sure that citizen of Cambodia can apply VOA? I just wanna make sure because I do not want any trouble happen to me and my family when I arrive Hainan airport? Have a nice day...

Dear, as far as I know, it’s possible. But just to be sure, you’d better apply for a tourist L type in advance because sometime, even you are eligible for the VOA application, your request may be denied. The final decision is made by the immigration officers.

Chantrea, it’s quite difficult for you to get VOA in Hainan, but if you can get one, it’s valid for 15 days only.
