Possibility of getting a 60-day Tourist Visa

Hello! I just applied for a Tourist L type in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

I've always thought that tourists will be given a travel period of maximum 90 days, hence I bought a flight ticket which allows me to fly off in March and come home by the end of April (2 months). I also planned an itinerary which covers the places I plan to visit for 2 months.

Unfortunately, I received the news at the CVASC in KL that tourists can usually a maximum of 30 days in PRC. I've enclosed my itinerary, my flight ticket and a request letter for a 2-month tourist L type. What are my chances of getting it, based on your experience?

Thanks in advance.

Wee, it's possible for you to get 60 days, but the chance is not great. But don’t worry! Once you enter PRC, it’s possible for you to extend the L type seven days earlier before it expires at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB.

Hi Jacob! Thanks for the reply. Is the visa extension as difficult as some people described online? Do you think I should get a relevant agent to settle it for me? Thanks!
