Guilin Lakes cruise

I am wanting to do the evening 2 rivers 4 lakes luxury cruise in mid march. I have been advised that non mandarin speakers prefer the 4 lakes version of the cruise. Can anyone enlighten me on the difference if there is one and do I need to book ahead (6 people) or would it be ok to just turn up at the departure point and get tickets on the spot?
Thanks

The former includes two rivers and four lakes. The fare is CNY 200 per person, and the trip takes about 1.5 hours. The latter only incudes four lakes. The fare is CNY 190 per person, and the trip takes about 1 hour.

You are advised to book the tickets on the official website of Two Rivers and Four Lakes Scenic Area in advance in case that the tickets might be sold out. Because the booking system is in Chinese, you may ask your Chinese friends for help. Have a nice trip! ;)
