Is there a time frame on how early can I renew my Chinese passport? I'm in Seattle now , can I send all my info to Los Angeles Chinese embassy to renew instead of having to walk in? Thnx

If the remaining validity of your passport is less than a year or the blank page has run out, you can apply for the renewal. I’m afraid you cannot post your application to the consulate general of PRC in Los Angeles, you should submit it on your own.
