pet quarantine

Hello, I have done a lot of looking around and have found that if you land Guangzhou that they don't make you quarantine your pets at the airport but rather in your home. How true is this? does anyone have links that could help me that are recent? I have also read that the new airport in Guangzhou is building a quarantine center.

It seems so. I just checked the official website of the Baiyun Airport Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau. According to the regulation, you can make the quarantine at home and get a valid Quarantine Certificate and V accination Certificate from your country. Whe passing the immigration at Guangzhou, present them and your pet shall be allowed in. For more info, you can dial 86-020-36066999 to ask.
