About:Po Lin Monastery

HKIA to Po Lin Monastery?

I have an 8 hour layover at the airport. Would it be possible to get out to the monastery and back in that time? If so, what is the best way to do that? Is there a bus from the airport?

Yes, time can generally be enough! You can take bus line S1 from Car Park 1, Cheong Tat Road to Tung Chung Station (about 25 minutes). Then, take a cable car up to Po Lin Monastery (about 20-25 minutes). ;) The only concern is that you may need to line up to catch the cable car. Wish you luck!
