About:China Visa Application in USA

Overstayed in china

I'm overstayed. Now I'm traveling to shanghai to turn myself in but my question is if I'm going to take train do they need my visa for ticketing? and how much do i pay for my exit in Shanghai?

Red, of course, it will be needed for ticketing. You’d better go to the local PSB and confessed that you overstayed. If your situation is not that serious, you may be required to pay the fine and then you can get an exit pass to exit from PRC. Usually, the fine is CNY500 per day and the total amount won’t be more than CNY10,000.
