About:China Visa Application in UK

My partner is going to work in China for 4-5 weeks in March. I have the opportunity to go with him.

Do I apply for a 3 month single entry tourist visa? Can I apply by post? Any hints Or tips??

Yes, you can apply for a single-entry tourist L type which is valid for three months and you can apply by post. I have some tips for you. First, if you apply in person, you had better make an online appointment on the website of CVASC. Second, if possible, you can try to apply for a two-year multiple-entry L type, because the fee is the same.
