Do I have to buy a combo ticket? I just want to go to the viewing deck at Feilai temple.

How much is that?

Yes, there are three kinds of combo tickets, and there is no single ticket for the Feilai Ttemple viewing deck only.
1. including the Feilai Temple, Wulongding, Mingyong Glacier and Jinsha River Bend.( CNY228)
2. including the Feilai Temple, Wulongding and Jinsha River Bend.( CNY228)
3. including the Feilai Temple, Wulongding, Yubengcun and Jinsha River Bend.( CNY228)

Thank you Sally. Do you have any places to recommend if I don't want to pay for a combo ticket? I can't afford to hire a car. I plan to spend 1 night there.

Well, I'm afraid that you have to purchase the combo ticket because it contains main scenic areas in this region. Besides, if you don't have enough money to hire a car, you can share one car with other tourists. It will save a lot of money. :)
