I am looking for a career change this year, as I felt that my work place is not giving me much to grow. Will this year is a good year to move? Will that opportunity comes? Should I also stay at my current job instead.. thanks

Firstly, I'd tell you that there is a promotion for you this year although you are thinking that the current company won't bring you much grow. If not interested, you can surely make a change. You are very likely to find a better job, which shall bring you higher salary together with more challenges.
