From Ningbo to Putuoshan, you can take ferry at Ningbo Daxie port. The ferry is available from 7:30-17:10 and the journey takes around 70 minutes. Or you may take bus at Ningbo South Bus Station to Zhoushan and then change speedboat at Shenjiamen Port (10 minutes).

Due to limit time my trip I will choose Shenjiamen port. How it take time transport Ningbo south bus station to Zhoushan? Or Taxi how cost approx. is it?

It takes at most 3 hours from Ningbo South Bus Station to Shenjiamen. Taking taxi is too expensive, more than CNY500, I guess.

At most 3 hours. The bus journey from Ningbo South Bus Station to Zhoushan Shenjiamen takes 2 hours and 10 minutes exactly. Ningbo South Bus Station is located at the south square of Ningbo Railway Station. Upon arrival at Zhoushan Shenjiamen, you can take taxi or bus no. 6 to Banshengdong Port(10 minutes) and then change speedboat to Putuoshan. I prefer to take bus.
