Yes, you can play golf in the middle of April.
Jade Dragon Snow Mountain International Golf Club is recommended. It's located at Ganhaizi (Dry Sea Meadow), the right mountain foot. The distance to LJ Ancient Town is about 17 miles (28km). With the altitude of 3,100 meters, you can also enjoy the beautiful natural scenery when playing golf. :)
Or you can go to Ancient Town Hupan Golf Holiday Resort. It takes around 10 mins from city center to there if by car.
