About:Bao'en Temple Pagoda

Applying for Z Visa during probation period

Mine is currently an X type, but I just got an office job which requires me to convert to Z. However, the company said that they can't help me to apply cos for the first 6 months I'll still be on probation period. What documents should I ask them to prepare and how can I apply for it? Thank you!

Disa, you should ask the company to get a certificate of employment as well as an invitation letter from duly authorized unit for you. Otherwise, you cannot apply for the Z type. Though you are only in probation period, the company has the obligation to get such documents for you.

Under Chinese employment law the probation period is only ONE month. Any employer who tells you otherwise is lying to you. The other answer is also right. Don't come to China to work on any other visa
