About:Year of the Monkey

What monkey year is 1992 & what traits for people born in that year? their relationship with Tiger?

My son was born Feb 27, 1992. I want to understand what kind of Monkey Year was 1992 (e.g., fire, water, metal) and how that might have influenced his personality. Also, how can I improve our relationship since I am a Tiger and we are opposite signs?
