Alex, you are eligible for the free transit as long as you make sure that your stopover time in Shanghai is no more than 144 hours.

Thank you for your quick reply!
Ive booked my flight already from Bali- Kuala Lumpur- Shanghai.
My Return Ticket however will go from Shanghai- Kuala Lumpur - Sydney. Is it an issue that its not a direct flight?

Dear, if you fly in such a route, I'm afraid you cannot use the free tarnsit because according to the policy, after your transit in Shanghai, you should fly to a third country or region, but you fly back to Singapore.
