Hi. How old is the child, and can be used to buy child ticket ?For example from Shenzen to Guilin ?

It depends on the height instead. The child under 120cm can board for free by sharing the seats or bed with adult. The child under 150cn can enjoy the child discount(50% off for the seats and about 25% of for the sleeper). One adult can only take one child under 120cm board for free.
