About:Chunyun - Spring Festival Travel Rush in China

Visiting great wall

Hi,

We will be arriving at Beijing airport mid-day February 7, 2016, and we will be departing mid-day February 9. I plan to visit the Great Wall. Will it be too crowded that time? How about traffic in that route from Beijing?

There did will be more travelers during the new year holiday especially the third and forth day of the their New year(should be Feb 10 and 11th). You may try to see if you can still found a booking agent for this trip. If not, you may make a back up option for the transfer like bus if the rail ticket to Badaling sold out.

It will be quite crowded I would recommend having a tour guide or being part of a tour.
