quick layover in beijing - 9 hours

What can I get done between my layover? I have 9 hours on August 23rd 2016. From 6am until 2pm. I want to get back to the airport at least by 11am and have 3 hours buffer time?

Actually you only get around 4 hours, which can cover only one place. For example, Badaling Great Wall. Excludes one-hour transportation from airport to the great wall one way, you only get two hours time to visit the Great Wall. Please notice that it is based on the normal traffic condition. If you get traffic jam, you may risk to miss your flight. Besides your time on August is during the Summer Holiday, the traffic at that time usually gets very bad.
