About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Travelling from London to Phuket via Beijing

Hi I am Pakistani National and a united kingdom resident travelling to Thailand on Pakistani Passport and my connecting flights have 8 hours in-between . Rest of my family are all British. Would I be able to get a transit visa and how do I apply for it. Just wanted to see Beijing for the few hours I am going to be there.
Thanks

Adnan, you qualify for the 24 hour direct transit. In this way, no entry permit is needed.
But you need to apply for a temporary stay permit at the airport if you plan to leave the airport.
