hangzhou to pudong airport in the morning

Question

Will I be able to stay overnight in HZ and make an 11:55 am international flight out of Pudong Airport? Alternatively I could travel to Shanghai the night before my flight.

Well, in general, you need to arrive at the airport 2 hours in advance. You are suggested to take the earliest bullet train scheduled at 06:10 from HZ Railway Station and arrive at Hongqiao Railway Station at 07:08. After arriving, take subway line 2 to get to PVG directly. The duration is about 1.5 hours. It takes around CNY 8 per person. In this way, you can catch your flight and don't need to stay overnight in Shanghai.
