About:China Transit Visa

Transit VISA required

Hi, I am traveling from Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam to NYC, USA. I have a layover of 22 hours. Do I need a need to apply for an entry permit or the free transit is possible? Do I need to file any paper work for a Free Transit?

Hi, Vincent, as you can enjoy the 24-hour free transit policy, you don't need to file any paperwork in advance. You just need to get a stamp (which is called a temporary stay permit) on your passport if you want to leave the airport for a short tour.
