Teaching Experience or Work Experience?

Hi,
My husband and I are looking at teaching positions in China, by review of the above-it appears that you must have teaching experience, however, a lot of the advertisements for jobs state that there is no "teaching" experience needed. Are you required to have teaching experience and/or does it just mean work experience?

Audrey, usually, you should have work experience related to the position you are taking. Because you want to teach in PRC, teaching experience is needed. It’s not that absolute though.
