Appying a Z-visa for over 18 yrs old

My son is over 18 yrs old and had been given a Z-type for over 10yrs as dependent by his father working in China. The son is living in the Philippines right now...could he still apply a Z-type for 6months w/multiple entries? The father is still working in PRC and holding a Z-type with expiration date in February 2017.

Elisha, I think you have mistakenly input the S1 type as the Z type, right? Your son can still get the S2 type though he's now elder than 18, but it's hard to say whether the S2 type is with single or multiple entries. As far as I know, most S2 types only have a single entry.
