Interesting Tourist Attractions Along The Beijing Xi'an High Speed Train Route

I intend to travel between BJ and Xi'an this autumn and have two weeks from around October 10 2016 when I am in BJ.

I am interested in history, culture and natural scenery and ancient Chinese cities and villages. My purpose to visit Xi'an is for the Terracotta Army and I plan to make various stops on my way so that I may be able to visit places of historical/cultural importance and scenic beauty.
