About:China Visa Fees

Hi, I'm a student. I overstayed my visa by 6 months because I could not finish paying tuition fee

due to finances but now I have the money and have paid. I am still supposed to be in china for 4 years , but what exactly will happen if I try to extend my X type now , will I be fined ? And how much would I be fined ?

Dear, you should report your situation to the local PSB and you may have to pay the fine. Usually, it charges CNY500 for each day, but the total fine amount won’t be more than CNY10,000.
I don’t think you can apply for an extension. I’m afraid you have to pay the tuition before they allow you to leave. So you have to make money first.

Will I be denied extension even after I pay both tuition fee and the CNY 10,000 ?
