Question

what clothing should be appropriate to have at that time.  I will arrive by  Princess Cruise ship at Wusongkou international cruise centre together with 7 friends. what is the best and convenient transportation to go to Howard Johnson plaza hotel at Jiu Jiang Road.Does the taxi at port go by prepaid voucher system or do we have to haggle the price with the driver. What will be a reasonable price to pay?

Usually in May, it would be cool, and the average temp may reach 62-75F. You are suggested to wear T-shirts. Upon arrival at the port, walk about 600 yards to Baoyanglu Bus Station to take the bus No. 952 Middle Xizang Road, East Beijing Road. And the walk about 900 yards, you will reach the hotel. Or you can just take a taxi, and the fare would be CNY80-90 per cab.

Will you be on the Saphire Princess arriving on the 12th of May?  We will be on that cruise. You might see me with my little scooter, usually hanging in the spa early morning.   Taxis are your best option, specially with luggage.  The taxis are not too bad in China.  Mind you, in KL they have improved a lot now, not so much haggling.  The city is great to visit.  If we meet in the spa near the pool I will give you some details' as this is my second visit.  Enjoy your trip.
