About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Am I able to apply arrival visa on that day when I reach beijing?

I'm visiting my boyfriend.... 3rd Feb till 8th Feb...

Dear, it's hard to get the VOA at Beijing. You should apply for a tourist L type before you reach China.
