Compulsory Requirements for Tourist Visa applicaion to China (Kunming)

Hi Sir,
I will be traveling to Kunming in very soon. Please let me know the required parameters for applying process. The reason for traveling is that I am just a fresh staff of the organization which HQ is located at Kunming and going to have a visit to HQ. The authorized person sent me a mail to take a visit. So, please kindly provide me some requirements in applying process.
