About:Chinese Etiquette

Employee is sick. How should she greet our customer?

we have a meeting with a Chinese customer. One of our employees is sick with a head cold. She doesn't want to offend them but doesn't feel she should shake hands or give them her business card. Thoughts

Ann, it's so considerate that she doesn't want others to be infected with her head cold. I think it's ok for her to say "Hi" to your customer and explain that she caught a head cold. Your Chinese customer won't mind if he knew she was ill.
