I will be in beijing in March of 2016. I do not want to go with a tour bus group. I understand Badaling is very touristy and crowded. Can you give a recommendation on another point to get to from Beijing? Thanks Angel

Angel, then you might go to Mutianyu section. It's favored by many foreigners. Take bus no. 936 Express from Dongzhimen Transportation Hub to Huairou North Street. There you can take a minivan to the wall. It costs around CNY 50 to 60 per person.
