About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

24 hour tourist visa free

A Canadian citizen with valid passport. I am travelling to various places in Asia, Australia and Indonesia. Will be returning home from Singapore with Singapore airlines with a 12 hour layover in PEK. I will be connecting in PEK with Air Canada returning to Toronto. Do I qualify for the 24 hour free transit to see PEK. Thank-you

Ruby, you qualify for the 24 hour direct transit. If you want to leave the airport and have a tour in Beijing, you need to apply for a temporary stay permit at the airport and it’s free of charge.
