is it required to apply visa for 1 week stay in china

Hi my husband is a saudi citizen wanted to visit shanghai china for 1 week does he need to apply an entry permit? thanks best regards

Fely, he needs to apply for an L type entry permit to PRC if he visits for sightseeing purpose.
