i plan to take train from hong hom to shanghai but i'm not in a hurry.

Question

I would like to see some countryside as we go and also would like some luxury. Can i get a sleeper on a normal ride or are these only available on the high speeds?Thanks, LK

In fact there is only one normal overnight type between HK and Shanghai, no hi speeds between. You can choose hard sleeper, soft sleeper or luxury soft sleeper cabin. The only problem you need to make sure the ride runs on your travel date. This ride runs every other day like only odd days or even days each month.
