About:Aba Travel

Hi, I am planning to visit Sertar just after Jiuzhaigou.

Is there any possibility to get there without going to Chengdu.
After Sertar my intention is to go to Litang. Google maps shows a direct road - is there any direct connection?
I also do not mind hitchhiking there. Would it be possible or do I need to take a bus (if any exist)?

Well, there is no direct bus from Jiuzhaigou to Sertar. So you may have to transfer in Chengdu, and then catch a coach to Sertar from Chadianzi Bus Station. The coaches depart before 8:00 every day, and the trip takes 14-16 hours. The fare is around CNY 260.

There is no direct bus from Sertar to Litang. So you may consider hitchhiking some trucks or cars. Have a nice trip!

I am planning there too. I think you can transit in Maerkang for 1 night (there is bus from Jiuzhaigou to Maerkang) and the next day to Seda. But I also heard that the road is terrible, so there is another option is to transit in Aba, and from Aba to Seda is just 2-4 hours in the next morning. You can take ref for your trip. Or if you already finished the trip, please give me some advices. :)
