About:Shangri-La Transportation

Transportation Shangri-La to Lijiang

Hello There,

I understand taking bus from SGL - LIG 4 to 4.5hrs, what time the first bus in the morning? Should we need buy tickets advance we can walk in and how the ticket per person? Other than bus, is there private car or taxi to Lijiang? How the cost will be and does it still take 4 to 4.5hrs journey?

The earliest bus is at 07:10. In usual time, there will have enough tickets. So you don't need to purchase them in advance. I remember that the ticket fare is CNY 38 per person.
In addition, yes, you can hire a private car to Lijiang directly. The fare is about CNY 500 to 600 for the single trip. It still needs around 4 hours on the way.
