About:China Talent Visa

Can anyone tell me which kind of Visa (Z or R) I need?

Hi,
I'm starting to work as a research associate at the University of Guanzhou? And what kind of documents do I have to submit, respectively?

You need to apply for a work Z type.
The required documents include the completed application form attached with a passport-sized color photo, your passport and copy of its data page, as well as Alien Employment License and an invitation letter from a duly authorized unit. Your employer will get the last two documents for you.

Ok thank you very much for your reply. Do you know long it takes to get the Alien Employment License (=Work permit???) and the letter of invitation?
