Taking alcoholic beverage?

I'm flying from San Francisco to Ho Chi Minh city and in transit at Guangzhou airport. I'll be bringing some bottles of alcohol which are bought at the duty free stores at San Francisco airport. Am I allowed to bring them through the security check at the Guangzhou airport then bring them into the plane?
Thank you very much

Henry

If you buy them at duty free in San Francisco it may have problem for transfer sometimes. I have heard this before. It seems not every one failed but this happened before. If you keep the packing well, it may help you increase the chance. Good luck.
