About:Chinese Consulate in Montreal

I want to go teaching French-English in China, what is important to know before to sign a contract

Is it possible that the working visa is asked from the Chinese school? How long I have to wait for a working Z type? Is it an organisation in Quebec City or Montreal to help me to prepare this trip to be safe? Thanks
Regards
Nancy

Caron, before signing a contract, you need to make sure that all the items are clear and accurate.
If you work in PRC, a work Z type is a must. The school will first apply for the foreigner employment permit or foreign expert certificate for you and then you can apply for the Z type. Usually, it takes 4 working days.
As long as you make sure that everything is under control and you enter PRC legally, you don’t need to worry.
