security period at hangzhou, china due to G20 meetings

Hi, i am Jessie from Malaysia. I had booked a ticket to the city, and my travelling date is from 15/4/2016 till 24/4/2016. i was told by one of the Guesthouse operators there that foreigners are not allowed to be staying at guesthouse during the period of when the G20 meeting is supposed to take place from 4/4-5/4/2016 and she recommended us to stay at hotel. I was wondering whether can i book the hotels there or even hostel to stay in town there as our travelling time is after that G20 meeting period.

I have a few choices of hotels in my mind and i was wondering which one is suitable for me and my friend s travelling in groups and near West Lake to do some sightseeing. may i know also the security period that the China Government had to implement for that G20 period, as we need to plan ahead our travelling schedules. i would also want to ask, whether can i book either one of this hotel for my stay there?
