About:China Customs Declaration

Old coins(Some are silver), do I need to declare them in Hong Kong?

I want to take rare/old coins to Heratage offices in Hong Kong. They will be sent to Dallas, USA. There they will be valuated, encapsulated and sent back to me in South Africa.

I think you'd better declare them at the customs. If you are still worried, please call HK Immigration Department to confirm this.
