About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

I have an invitation to attend CCNU in Wuhan for two weeks. I have a criminal record

I was charged with a one time offense of possess under 28 gms marijuana over thirty years ago and fined $90.00. I do not use marijuana since then. will this invalidate me from obtaining a visa for china?

Peter, are you in the process of applying an X type? I personally think it might have some adverse impacts on your application, but it doesn't mean that you are banned to get the PRC entry permit.
