clothes traveling around china

Ok I am a native New Yorker and I just bought a brunello...cucinelli... ivory pants with a sweater that is very different do ya feel it's too much for trip
Something tells me to dress more simple

Well, they are world famous brands, right? These clothes indicate that you are very rich. You know, Chinese people observe a simple rule "never tell anyone how much money you have". It's really unnecessary to wear these top class clothes during a trip.
