Chinese Visa - Port of Entry/Proof of Accommodations

I am planning to travel to Hong Kong for a week followed by Shanghai for a week. When filling out my Chinese application, do I put HK as my port of entry? Also, will an Airbnb reservation suffice for accommodations? Thanks for the help!

Kevin, you don’t need to put HK as your entry port. If the Airbnb reservation covers two thirds of your total trip in PRC, it’s enough.
