About:Huizhou Travel

I would like to find out more about Danshui, Huizhou.

Danshui is my ancestral town from where my grandfather migrated to malaysia. I am curious about this place n would like to know how to get there. There are places to stay? Any attractions in Danshui? What can i do there? How to get there? From Guangzhou? Thanks. Hew

The Danshui Town is located in Huiyang District of the city. You may take a bullet train to Shenzhen from Guangzhou or Guangzhou East Railway Station. The trip takes 70-90 minutes. Upon arrival, take metro Longgang Line to the terminus: Shuanglong Station, Exit B. After that, take Shenhui bus Line 2 to your destination.

For accommodation: you may consider the Legend International Hotel on West Nanmen Street. It is near the People's Park, so you can easily find it.

For attractions: You can go to visit People's Park, Memorial Garden of General Ye Ting, Tan Xian Ancient Temple, etc. :)

My name frankie hew from malaysia.
Coincidently i was looking at the huidong map where i came across your enquiry.
I am also looking for my ancestors in danshui! We have lost contact with them.
We have been to longgang ,pingshan before but did not go to danshui.
