A Change in Citizenships

Hello,

I have a permanent residence in the Czech Republic and I have been to China already 5 times with a visa issued in Prague using my foreign passport.
I have now acquired Czech citizenship but believe my new Czech passport will not be issued in time for my trip in April. I am in the process of getting my temporary Czech ID.
I suppose I again will have to travel using my foreign passport. I will no longer have my ID for a foreigner living in the Czech Republic. What other documentation do I have to produce to get my visa?

Thanks for you help,
Mark

Because you have submitted your application for Czech passport, you can ask relevant authorities to issue a certificate to prove that you are in the processing of obtaining an ID in Czech. This document can be a proof of your legal stay.
