About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72 hour transit visa for Philippines citizen but Canada resident

HI, I'm Ukrainian my wife is citizen of Philippines. We both residents of Canada going to travel from Manila to Vancouver with 21 hour layover in Guangzhou. Question is, can my wife get a transit type in airport too? Because we are travelling with our 1 year old daughter and don't want to spend all day in airport. Thank you

Alex, Filipinos are disqualified for 72 hours free transit. However, your total transit is less than 24 hours, so your wife is qualified for 24 hours transit. If you plan to exit the airport, then she just needs to get the stay permit from the immigration. It's for free.
