About:Hong Kong Travel

Staying for two days at Hong Kong Mira Hotel. Best form of transport?

Would like to visit Central, go on the cable car to Victoria Peak and also visit Lantau Island. What means of transport would be most suitable please?

The MTR is the best choice.
From your hotel, you can walk about 200 yards to Tsim Sha Tsui Station, where you can take the Tsuen Wan Line to Central Station. Take the Exit K and walk about 550 yards, you will reach the tram station and take the tram to the peak.

To Lantau Island, the Tung Chung line can lead to the island, and you can still take the Tsuen Wan Line to Laiking Station, and then transfer to Tung Chung Line to your destination.
